We’re excited about a friendship we have been developing with a local ministry called Restored Hope. Restored Hope is a transitional living facility for single mothers to build a bridge from a past life to new life. This Christ-centered ministry helps homeless and at-risk women to transform into stable, productive, spiritually grounded individuals with a renewed sense of self worth and a positive outlook on their future. They do this by taking women through a one year Life Transformation program which consists of both structured classes and individual mentoring sessions. The core areas of focus are:
The director of this ministry, Marty Barnhart, will be at Journey on July 5th sharing about the great ways God has been moving and working in the lives of women and children through this ministry. We are looking forward to hearing him speak and also to how we can begin to work alongside Restored Hope in helping to enrich women’s lives with the restorative hope of Jesus Christ.
