At the end of each service we announce:

If you consider Journey Church your church home and you find yourself in financial need – like there is a bill that is keeping you up at night – we encourage you to drop that bill in the offering basket on your way out and we will do everything we can to take care of that for you.

The purpose of the Roadside Assistance Fund is to provide financial assistance to regular attenders of Journey Church. We do not have the resources in order to meet the needs of all our community. Rather, people from Journey give to this fund in order to help those in the Journey family who have fallen on hard times.

Secondly, the intent of the fund is to meet emergency needs or pay emergency type bills that have come up. This fund is not intended for long-term financial needs.

For those who are facing long-term financial issues, Journey offers classes to help find solutions. We offer regular classes from Financial Peace University and we also offer one-on-one mentoring. As we say each week, we will do everything we can to take care of your need. We may not be able to meet every need, but we will try our best to help.
